Purpose:The main research problem of this paper is to present the use of the restructuring process as a way of improving the situations of enterprises on the market with the use of technology. The paper's primary goal is to investigate whether or not companies were prepared for the COVID-19 crisis in terms of technology. The auxiliary aim of the paper is to indicate the directions of any changes that enterprises take when under the influence of a turbulent environment and, with the use of a restructuring process, help control crises. The results of surveys and numerous analyses or reports that have been prepared before and during such crises as the Black Swan and Gray Rhinoceros will be used in the search for answers to these goals. Design/Methodology/Approach: The article will use the following research methods to fully present the issues of companies' struggling with a crisis: a literature analysis, questionnaire research, a review of reports, and comments. Findings: As an outcome of the paper, it shall be indicated that any problems related to the impact of the COVID-19 crisis can be solved by restructuring through the use of digital technology. Practical Implications: The use of these solutions enables better communication in B2B and B2C, which coincides with the Fourth Industrial Revolution based on the systematic connection of all entities by technical means. Originality/Value: The paper is an initial effort with a high level of novelty based on current economic situation cases.

This study explored entrepreneurial development as it relates to micro, small and medium-size enterprises (MSMEs) development in Nigeria. The evolution of entrepreneurship which is regarded as “an engine for growth” is being viewed from the perspective of economic, sociological, political, psychological, and composite perspectives. Entrepreneurial development in Nigeria is observed to be hampered by some factors including financing, management, infrastructure inadequacy, socio-cultural problems, strategic planning problems, multiple taxation, and unstable policy environment. In averting these problems to stir entrepreneurial spirit, this study suggested that Nigeria needs to resort to the 1999 United Nations work plan on National Enterprise Promotion Agency; plus, establishment of an anchor scheme to bring together MSMEs and provide capacity building and training programs on subjects such as corporate governance and having correct documentation in place to obtain credit.

Determinants of Sustainable Growth of SMEs in Developing Countries: The Case of Ethiopia

Small and medium-sized businesses (SMEs) played a significant role in domestic employment and inclusive GDP in developing countries such as Ethiopia. Accordingly, the purpose of this study is to investigate the determinants of sustainable growth of SMEs in developing countries, notably in Ethiopia. To achieve the objectives of this study, both descriptive and explanatory research designs were used. In addition to this, primary data was collected from SMEs engaged in service, manufacturing, trade, construction, and urban agriculture. The sampling techniques used for this study is the stratified simple random sampling technique in which 194 employees of SMEs were drawn as a sample size for this study. Moreover, multiple linear regression models were used with the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) version 23 software as the data analysis tool. According to the study’s findings, crucial issues such as the coronavirus and political uncertainty in Ethiopia, which have allowed for widespread corruption, are now harming the growth of SMEs. According to the findings, political instability, corruption, and COVID-19 are now having a substantial effect on the growth of SMEs in Ethiopia. These concerns have serious consequences for the long-term sustainability of Ethiopian SMEs. Hence, the study strongly advocates for sequential policy reform in the region, as well as a review of current policies aimed at ensuring effective corruption control in the region and bringing political stability to the region, particularly in Ambo town, Ethiopia.
