The first six years of Culture & Psychology have been productive in the creation of an international forum of scholarly interchanges where the notion of 'culture' occurs in a number of different ways. Selected themes that can be productively developed further are analyzed: historicity; dialogical perspectives in cultural psychology; social representing; activity orientations. Attention is directed towards careful reconstruction of methodological rules of psychology to accommodate to the need to investigate complex, dynamic and meaningful phenomena.
