Abstract:The enthalpy of formation of bis(2-fluoro-2,2-dinitroethyl)amine was determined by combustion calorimetry using a platinum-lined rotating-bomb calorimeter. To desensitize and ensure complete combustion, the compound was burned with an auxiliary material, diethylphthalate. The enthalpy of formation (c,298.15°K) was determined to be -126.952 ± 0.49 kcal/mol.The enthalpy of formation of bis(2-fluoro-2,2-dinitroethy])amine (BFDNA) was determined by combustion calorimetry, using a platinum-lined rotating-bomb calor… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
