Entertainment and Recreation in the Classical World—Tourism Products

Abstract: The aim of this study is to examine important aspects of social life of Greek and Roman societies by tracing means and ways of entertainment, recreation and leisure. Such activities were essential to the lives of Greco-Roman people and government officials. They include many forms of sports practiced by athletes during the famous Greek Olympic Games.
