Entanglement for a general formalism of a three-level atom in a V-configuration interacting nonlinearly with a non-correlated two-mode field

Abstract: A model of a three-level atom V-configuration interacting with a two-mode field through the mechanism of multi-photon transition is studied. The effects of mean photon numbers, detuning, and the Kerr-like medium parameters are investigated within various forms of the intensity-dependent coupling functional. Analytical expressions for the time evolution and the reduced atomic density operators of the system are obtained in the context of the framework of the dressed states.
