Entanglement dynamics and Mollow nonuplets between two coupled quantum dots in a nanowire photonic-crystal system

Abstract: We introduce a nanowire-based photonic crystal waveguide system capable of controllably mediating the photon coupling between two quantum dots which are macroscopically separated. Using a rigorous Green-function-based master equation approach, our two-dot system is shown to provide a wide range of interesting quantum regimes. In particular, we demonstrate the formation of long-lived entangled states and study the resonance fluorescence spectrum which contains clear signatures of the coupled quantum dot pair. D… Show more

“…In that work, sidebands at frequencies ω a ± 2Ω were shown to rise in the spectrum, yet the effect is substantial only for atoms closer than a wavelength. A similar effect was predicted for pairs of quantum dots [31]. Treating more than two atoms is much harder.…”

“…In the strongly nonreciprocal (unidirectional) case, only one pole is present, leading to only one term in (43). Figure 12b shows the magnetic field in the bulk bandgap for ω c > 0 obtained by numerical evaluation of the Sommerfeld integral (40), and by assuming only the residue component (43) (since we operate in the bulk bandgap and the gap Chern number is −1, then there is one unidirectional SPP). The opaque medium is topologically-trivial, and is an unbiased plasma having ε = −2.…”
