Ensuring water availability in Mekelle City, Northern Ethiopia: evaluation of the water supply sub-project

Abstract: The need and demand for water in the world are becoming acute with the growing population. This is mostly pressing in developing countries of which Mekelle City in Northern Ethiopia is not an exception. World Bank borehole-support sub-project was aimed at addressing this challenge.
