“…It was intensively investigated experimentally and predicted theoretically based on the discontinuities of the structure and the normal component of the electric field strength at the surface of the inorganic NWs that have diameters substantially below the wavelength of visible light. , On the basis of the above observation, the highly aligned assembly of the Se NW minimizes undesirable optical scattering and confines the efficiently guided spectral SHG emission, which is highly beneficial to carefully design a novel platform of SHG-based laser displays. Moreover, we believe that the nonlinear optical capability combined with the planar assembly process enables the development of high efficiency optoelectronic devices for other possible applications. …”
