Enhancing the properties of PVDF/ MFe2O4; (M: Co-Zn and Cu-Zn) nanocomposite for the Piezoelectric Optronic applications.

Abstract: Polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF) polymer is considered as an encouraging piezoelectric material whose optical properties need to be enhanced. Zinc ferrite is an excellent photoelectric material, in the present work it was doped separately by (cobalt and copper) ferrite. Co-ZnFe2O4 and Cu-ZnFe2O4 nanoparticles were synthesized and characterized to be used as PVDF fillers, aiming to improve its optical properties. The optical properties as well as, the piezoelectric response of the prepared PVDF/ (Co-ZnFe2O4 and C… Show more

“…3 El-Masry compared the catalytic activities of CuFe 2 O 4 , CoFe 2 O 4 , and Co-doped CuFe 2 O 4 for the reduction of different nitroaromatics. 143 Co-doped CuFe 2 O 4 showed the highest catalytic activity and recyclability up to six cycles along with high stability. 143 Hybrid CoFe 2 O 4 exhibited high catalytic efficiency toward 4-NP reduction with 99% conversion efficiency in just 50 s. 63 Highly efficient reduction of 4-nitroaniline is reported using MnFe 2 O 4.…”

The electron-donating nature of the amino group and the electron-withdrawing effect of the nitro group lead to a resonating structure and strong interaction with MnFe 2 O 4 , which as a consequence achieves a highly efficient reduction even under dark conditions (Figure 14a).…”
