Abstract:This work looks about the way friction stir processing (FSP), improves the aluminium alloy's (AA) 6082 resistance to wear and corrosion. Two types of samples were fabricated and taken from the FSP'ed stir zone surface for (i) pure AA6082 and (ii) AA6082 with TiC and graphite hybrid surface composites.
