“…Thus, it is not surprising that “best lessons” devoted to relationship understanding, communication, and problem‐solving were evident in our data. Indeed, those lessons, as articulated by some of our participants, reflect common ingredients of prevalent marriage and relationship interventions (Hawkins, Blanchard, Baldwin, & Fawcett, ), as well as good communication skills that are widely promoted for well‐being at school (Wertheim, Freeman, & Trinder, ) and in the workplace (Gupta, Boyd, & Kuzmits, ).
