Abstract: The study investigates the application of high-voltage electrical pulses (HVEP) as a pretreatment to enhance the leaching efficiency of rare earth elements (REE) from coal ash (CA) produced from the combustion of Ekibastuz Basin coal in Almaty, Kazakhstan.
