Findings demonstrate that internships significantly enhance both technical and soft skills among students, equipping them with the practical knowledge and adaptability crucial for success in maritime careers. Industry experts consistently recognise internship graduates as well-prepared, while employers express high satisfaction in their performance and readiness for professional roles. Vocational students report substantial personal and professional growth, attributing their career readiness to the hands-on experiences gained during internships. A longitudinal study affirms the enduring benefits of internship initiatives, revealing sustained career advancement and job satisfaction among alumni.
