“…Mouse ear edema induced with topically-applied TPA is also an excellent acute inflammation animal model, closely Scorzonera species were in focus of our previous research touching testing of analgesic, anti-inflammatory, and wound healing activities. Aerial part extracts of Scorzonera showed significant inhibitory effects in carrageenan and PGE 2 induced hind paw edema model in vivo [21][22][23].
