Abstract:Biopharmaceutical Classification System II drug, Ranolazine exhibits pH-dependent solubility and thus shows variable absorption along the gastrointestinal tract. Due to poor aqueous solubility particularly in basic pH, an attempt has been made to improve solubility through the cocrystallization technique.
