Abstract:ABSTRACT. This paper explores the advantages of applying Geographic Information Systems (GIS) in the mathematical modelling of fish toxins bioaccumulation. The method is demonstrated with a mercury contamination study for Lake Ontario's Rainbow Trout (Oncorhynchus mykiss).
