“…There is a clear mixed conduction behavior of electrons and holes in the BST/Fe-BST epoxy multilayer films. Therefore, the α and σ of the BST/Fe-BST epoxy multilayer films can be expressed as follows: 51 σ total = σ e + σ h = e( n e μ e + n h μ h )where α total and σ total are the total Seebeck coefficient and total electrical conductivity, respectively. The subscripts e and h represent the corresponding electron carrier and hole carrier, respectively.…”

“…For instance, the size of nanoparticulate second-phases such as SiC, 9 Ga 1− x In x Sb, 10 BaFe 12 O 19 11 and Co 12 dispersed in the intragranular and grain boundaries of the CoSb 3 -based compound is smaller than the mean free path of the phonons, enabling phonons to be effectively scattered and reducing the κ L . In recent years, the introduction of 2D second-phase MoS 2 13 and graphene 14,15 into CoSb 3 -based compounds to reduce thermal transport has been extensively studied. It is noteworthy that a heterogeneous interface is formed between the guest nanophases and CoSb 3 -based compounds, which plays a significant role in inhibiting heat transfer.…”
