Enhanced Thermoelectric Cooling through Introduction of Material Anisotropy in Transverse Thermoelectric Composites

Abstract: Transverse thermoelectric materials can achieve appreciable cooling power with minimal space requirement. Among all types of material candidates for transverse thermoelectric applications, composite materials have the best cooling performance.
