Enhanced Search-and-Rescue Optimization-Enabled Secure Route Planning Scheme for Internet of Drones Environment

Abstract: The Internet of Drones (IoD) is greatly developed and promotes many civil applications. However, it can still be prone to several security problems which threaten public safety. The issue of security poses further problems upon linking the IoD to the Internet, as its data stream is exposed to attack. For secure communication between drones, an effective route planning scheme with a major intention of accomplishing security is needed. With this aim, this study develops an enhanced search-and-rescue optimization… Show more

“…Likewise, a universally maintained knowledge base that records high-quality subroutes was employed for accelerating the inner optimization of the memetic technique. Alrayes et al [17] developed an ESRO-SRP method, i.e., enhanced search-and-rescue optimization-related secure route planning for the IoD platform. The modelled ESRO-SRP approach focused on deriving a set of best routes to the destination.…”

“…Multiple discrete UAVs are organized and coordinated in a distributed and collaborative operation with the goal of accomplishing the same task [1]. With outstanding advantages of distributed multifunctional fusion, rapid dynamic reconfiguration, strong survivability and expansion, and high task effectiveness, UAV swarm systems has been extensively applied in various field [2][3][4][5][6][7][8][9][10] .…”
