Enhanced red photoluminescence in a nanocomposite thin film composed of Bi3.6Eu0.4Ti3O12 and Au‐decorated ZnO nanorods

Abstract: This paper firstly reports on a series of nanocomposite thin films composed of a ferroelectric Bi3.6Eu0.4Ti3O12 (BET) and Au‐decorated ZnO nanorods (Au‐ZnO), which are prepared by a ultraviolet‐induced hybrid chemical solution method. The effects of Au nanoparticles (NPs) and ZnO nanorods on the significantly red photoluminescence enhancement of Eu3+ ions are investigated.
