Enhanced Phonon Antibunching in a Circuit Quantum Acoustodynamical System Containing Two Surface Acoustic Wave Resonators

Abstract: We propose a scheme to implement the phonon antibunching and phonon blockade in a circuit quantum acoustodynamical system containing two surface acoustic wave (SAW) resonators coupled to a superconducting qubit. In the cases of driving only one SAW resonator and two SAW resonators, we investigate the phonon statistics by numerically calculating the second-order correlation function. It is found that, when only one SAW cavity is resonantly driven, the phonon antibunching effect can be achieved even when the qub… Show more

“…Besides these examples of quantum acoustics applications, the strong coupling between magnons and phonons is still under investigation [146,[151][152][153][154]. Furthermore, research in other fields continues, such as coherent coupling between phonons [155][156][157][158], coupling between elastic waves and single quantum dots [159][160][161][162], etc. These advances in quantum acoustics will likely bring a rev- Recently, Zhao et al [149] succeeded in visualizing acoustic FMR by micro-focused Brillouin light scattering (µ − BLS).…”

“…Previous studies on photomechanics mainly focus on the UPB without the phase, but phase is an extremely important parameter for unconventional photon blockade and even basic quantum mechanics [63][64][65]. Motivated by this, we intend to study the phasecontrolled tunable UPB in a single-atom-cavity system.…”
