“…Hydrogen has long been considered to be a primary energy carrier in future, because the chemical energy stored in the H–H bond of H 2 is very high, with an energy density of 140 MJ Kg −1 , and can be easily released when it reacts with oxygen (O 2 ), yielding only water without any pollution . Industrially, H 2 is generated from non‐renewable natural gas and petroleum by steam reforming processes, which consume fossil fuels, along with unwanted CO 2 emission .…”

“…The diffraction peaks for TiO 2 can be indexed to wurtzite structure (JCPDS card no 80-0075) [16]. Beside these peaks, the additional peaks at 2θ 9 values of 26.5º, 30.6º, and 52.1º corresponding to the crystal plane (111), (200), and (311) indicate the presence of CdS NPs [20,21]. We did not observe separate peak for RGO in the composite nanostructure, which may be due to the low amount of utilized GO and relatively low diffraction intensity of RGO as compared to the main peak of anatase at around 25º.…”

“…39 In the case of direct deposition by in situ CdS-ZnS QDs synthesis in the presence of TiO 2 , QDs were observed agglomerated as seen in Fig. 40 With a closer look at these nanowires ( Fig. There was also a decrease in nanowire length observed because of vigorous stirring under high temperature during pyrolysis of the QD precursor.…”
