Engineering Acidithiobacillus ferrooxidans growth media for enhanced electrochemical processing

Abstract: The chemolithoautotroph Acidithiobacillus ferrooxidans has been proposed as a potential electrofuel synthetic platform, and its growth medium is engineered to increase its conductivity and energy density, thereby improving viability of the process.
