By integrating the liquid limit, plasticity index and linear shrinkage, the expansive rating of locations 1,2,6,7,8,9,11,12,13,16,17,18,19,20,21,24,25,26,27,28,29,31,34,35,36,37,38 fall in the medium rating while 3, 4, 5, 15, 22, 30 and 32 fall in the low rating giving a general rating of low to medium tendency of expansiveness. This is in line with the rating of expansive soils by [39].…”

“…The percentage fines values range between 5.4 and 99%, sand is 1-91.8 %, and gravel is 0-78 % (Table II). The percentage of fines is >50% in locations 7, 25,27,28,29,31,32,33,34,35,36, 37 and 28 in areas around Latya, Kwang, Katon Rikkos and Dura. While locations 1, 3, 9, 10, 11, 16 and 17 in areas around Rayfield, Kwang, Gold and Base and Zot Shen have fines ≥20 -30%.…”
