Abstract: Cerebral ischemia was one of the leading causes of mortality and disability worldwide. Extracellular matrix (ECM) hydrogel held great potential to replace volumetric brain tissue loss following ischemic injury but with limited regenerative effect for functional restoration when implanted alone.
