This research study focuses on the analysis of internal control in relation to administrative, accounting and financial management, with the purpose of identifying critical points and deficiencies present. The data collected during the investigation carried out in the financial department and in the administrative area, where the delivery of specifications for coordination with the National Public Procurement System (SERCOP) is planned, reveal the existence of shortcomings in control practices. Control risks were mainly observed as risk factors, and the improper application of internal control procedures affects the internal processes of the finance department. It is essential for the Decentralized Autonomous Government of Palenque to identify development mechanisms to address existing problems and provide quality and timely works and services projects, thus guaranteeing the social and economic development of the population. In this research, the focus is to analyze and determine a solution scheme to mitigate deficiencies in accounting, administrative, and financial management. This involves designing control documents and determining tools that facilitate the improvement of internal control in the Decentralized Autonomous Government of the Palenque Canton.

La comunicación comercial en redes sociales es crucial en entornos urbanos como Ambato, pero enfrenta desafíos como la saturación de contenido, la falta de estrategias efectivas y la dificultad para destacarse entre la competencia. La presente investigación tiene como objetivo analizar el efecto del social media marketing en la comunicación digital y la intención de compra, utilizando un enfoque cuantitativo con análisis factorial exploratorio y coeficiente Rho de Spearman. Se reveló una influencia significativa del social media marketing tanto en la comunicación digital como en la intención de compra de los consumidores digitales. El diseño de investigación combinó análisis descriptivos y correlacionales para comprender el comportamiento de las variables y su relación entre ellas. El social media marketing tiene un impacto positivo en la comunicación y la decisión de compra en el contexto estudiado, subrayando la importancia de desarrollar estrategias efectivas en redes sociales para las empresas comerciales en Ambato.

In pre-pandemic scenarios, various studies have indicated that gamification has turned out to contribute to improving student learning; however, in the context of the pandemic and in the face of the abrupt change to a virtual teaching modality, the need for learning innovations to overcome the limitations of social distancing was much more critical. Thus, this article aims to explore and describe the design considerations of gamification and the factors that evidenced its success in engineering education. Therefore, a systematic review of the literature was developed under a mixed approach and with an exploratory-descriptive scope. The results showed that gamification was applied to a greater extent in computer engineering and software engineering. In addition, the design considerations that prevailed in the development of gamification applications were, to a greater extent. focused on the pedagogical objective and the interaction of the simulation. It was found that the application of gamification effectively generates motivation, commitment, and permanent participation of the student. As such, it is concluded that aspects such as the area of knowledge of the student in engineering are relevant for the implementation of gamification. In addition, the design considerations that contribute to the success of the construction of student learning do not depend on the virtual, face-to-face or hybrid teaching model; however, it is necessary to build regulations that regulate and promote the continuity and sustainability of the use of gamification throughout the engineering career and not in isolation.
