Abstract:Inorganic phosphors based on monoclinic Y2WO6 doped with Sm 3+ ions were prepared via conventional solid-state reactions at high temperature. A total of six samples were obtained with different Sm 3+ concentrations (0-9%). The purity of the as-prepared phases was checked by powder X-ray diffraction (PXRD). The excitation, emission, and time-resolved emission spectra were examined in detail. The experimental decay curves were fitted to the Inokuti-Hirayama model, showing that the Sm 3+ ions form clusters at all… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
