Energy savings and economic benefits of transition towards efficient lighting in residential buildings in Cameroon

Abstract: Lighting accounts for over 20% of electricity use in the residential sector of Cameroon. “…In this study, we evaluated the efficiency of Chinese energy-efficient subsidy policy by directly investigating the economic benefits of labelled household appliances with different energy efficiency grade (EEG) levels in the absence and presence of subsidies.
