Energy-Aware Post Settings: A Study on Performance Gain by Adding Relaying Nodes in Wireless Ad-Hoc Networks

Abstract

Abstract-We explore the effect of certain network properties for energy balancing in wireless ad-hoc networks. We report the extent to which the improvement on energy balancing can be achieved by strategic placements of an additional relaying node in networks running energy-efficient routing protocols.
