Abstract: This study concentrates the effect of hybridisation on the collapse mode and energy absorption for composite cylinders.The static collapse behavior of laminated(Al/CFRP/GFRP) circular-cylindrical composite shell under quasi-static axial compressive load has been investigated experimentally.
