Endovascular mechanical thrombectomy of the inferior vena cava and iliac veins with the use of Aspirex®S device in a paediatric patient

Abstract: An 11-year-old male patient with Down syndrome was admitted to our hospital because of upper respiratory tract infection accompanied by high fever. After 2 days of hospital stay he was discharged with recommendation for further outpatient treatment.
