Abstract:We will start our review with 2 illustrative cases, one of Barrett’s adenocarcinoma and one of squamous carcinoma, that received salvage endoscopic treatment at our center after definitive surgery and/or chemoradiation. This will help provide a clinical framework for the subsequent discussion of how to approach this infrequent but complicated scenario of endoscopic salvage for esophageal cancer recurrence/ persistence after chemoradiation therapy.
