Endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography in super-elderly patients: Is it safe?

Abstract: patients over 90 years of age. Super-elderly patients undergoing ERCP are at high risk for moderate-to-severe complications due to cardiovascular, pulmonary and neurological comorbidities (4). More data are needed on the performance of ERCP because super-elderly patients are a growing segment of the population, and an increasing number of them will undergo ERCP. The aim of this study was, therefore, to retrospectively evaluate the success and complications of diagnostic and therapeutic ERCP.
