Endoscopic Resection Techniques

Abstract: Cancers at an early stage of disease with a low risk of lymph node metastases or distant spread can be managed endoscopically. Different endoscopic techniques can be applied in the gastrointestinal tract. Furthermore, endoscopic and laparoscopic surgery can be combined in specific indications today. Most of all, resection-related complications can also be solved endoscopically.

Conversion to standard surgical resection would be possible in case of inability to resect the entire lesion endoscopically.…”
