Endoscopic diagnosis and treatment of an appendiceal mucocele: A case report

Abstract: BACKGROUND Appendiceal mucocele is a rare disease that causes obstructive dilatation of the appendix due to the intraluminal accumulation of mucin. We report a case of endoscopic diagnosis and treatment of an appendiceal mucocele.
