Endonasale Mediandrainage

Abstract: Das einseitige Anlegen einer breiten Verbindung zwischen Nase und Stirnhöhle haben Rhinologen schon vor etwa 100 Jahren beschrieben. Die Stirnhöhle wurde endonasal mit einem Bohrer aufgefräst, wobei zur sicheren anatomischenOrientierung unterschiedliche Hilfsmittel eingesetzt wurden: Röntgenverfahren, eingeführte Stirnhöhlensonden und auch Schützer, die -breiter als der Bohrerkopf -vor einer Verletzung der Hinterwand schützen sollten [7, 11, 12, 30].
