Abstract:The effects of dopamine on plasma renin-angiotensin-aldosterone system vasopressin levels and blood pressure were studied in anesthetized guinea-pig. The inhibition of the angiotensin converting enzyme with perindopril permitted assessment of the role of the renin-angiotensin system.
