Abstract: BACKGROUNDChildhood-onset systemic lupus erythematosus (cSLE) is a multisystemic inflammatory autoimmune disease, usually more severe than in adults, affecting major organs and systems, with different disease presentations, leading to increased morbidity and mortality rates.
