This document presents a conceptual model of a system for protecting the data stored in publicly available data storage systems. The main idea was to apply encryption on both the client and server sides that would consequently have a significant impact on data security. The compatibility with existing systems allows us to deploy the solution fast and at a low cost. The tests conducted on a simplified implementation have confirmed the solution's validity, and they have shown some possible performance issues as compared to the classical system (which can be easily bypassed).

With the advancement of science and technology internet related communicative techniques have taken prominent roles in everyday activities. However threat of hackers and malicious groups have grown along with these advancements. It is the role of the security mechanisms to protect the sensitive data from passive and active attacks. There are different kinds of encryption algorithms to make sure that the data sent through internet is secure from any sort of attacks. Several cryptographic algorithms have been developed for encryption with each one having some advantages and disadvantages. This paper proposes an encryption technique namely AO_Enc CT to hide the nonnumeric data from the unauthorized users. The sample data are implemented in the proposed technique and the results are derived to prove that the proposed technique is higher security in protecting the data of the user.

Abstract. Cloud Computing is one of the most important developments in the field of information technology. This new kind of service delivery also offers innovative opportunities for office suites usually called Office 2.0. Those tools allow users to access their data and documents anytime and anywhere, as long as an internet connection is available. Due to the internet-based design these tools can be used on almost any device which has a browser installed.In the first section, the theoretical basis for cloud-based office suites is discussed. The second part presents the results of an empirical survey conducted by the authors and explores the attitudes and feelings towards usability and security of those tools. An experimental setting was used to gather data from the participants. Google Docs was selected to conduct the experiment.
