Encapsulating Peritoneal Sclerosis: Pathophysiology and Current Treatment Options

Abstract: Encapsulating peritoneal sclerosis (EPS) is a life-threatening complication of long-term peritoneal dialysis (PD), which may even occur after patients have switched to hemodialysis (HD) or undergone kidney transplantation.
