Abstract:Enantioselective, potentiometric membrane electrodes (EPMEs) based on- ,-and-cyclodextrins (CDs) as chiral selectors were proposed for the assay of S-deprenyl. The response characteristics proved that the proposed EPMEs could be reliably used in the assay of S-deprenyl. The best slope is exhibited by the EPME based on-cyclodextrin. The limits of detection are very low: 10-9 mol L-1 magnitude order for-cyclodextrin based EPME, and 10-11 mol L-1 magnitude order for-, and-cyclodextrins based EPMEs. The surfaces o… Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
