Abstract:We propose a gain-assisted enantioselective scheme in dye-doped chiral core-shell particles using a single plane wave. We demonstrate that optical pulling and pushing forces on the gainfunctionalized chiral particles can be achieved and tuned using externally controllable parameters using dye molecules concentration and pumping rate. The results demonstrate that controlling the pump rate allows one to efficiently exert pulling forces on a given chiral enantiomer, while pushing the enantiomer of opposite handed… Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
