Enantioselective Michael addition to vinyl phosphonates via hydrogen bond-enhanced halogen bond catalysis

Abstract: An asymmetric Michael addition of malononitrile to vinyl phosphonates was accomplished by hydrogen bond-enhanced bifunctional halogen bond (XB) catalysis.
