En‐Trusting Appraisal to the Trust

Abstract: Contemporary performance appraisal (henceforth appraisal) has become an important tool in overseeing employees' work. Little of the vast literature however, has focused on its effects on the individual, beyond simple descriptions informing its implementation by management.
