Abstract: leaflet3 will know that this no longer applies and that a contributor to the N.H.S. Superannuation Scheme with five years' superannuable service who now leaves the N.H.S. before pensionable age will have his accrued benefits preserved in the scheme until age 60. Moreover, these benefits will be raised in line with the cost of living until they come into payment.
