“…Roughly about 47 % of the studies reviewed focused on transformational leadership. Most of the studies examined transformational leadership as a predictor variable, with only 3 studies using it as a mediating variable [ [62] , [92] , [93] ] and 1 study as a moderating variable [ 47 ]. Authentic leadership was used in 28 % of the studies [ 32 , 52 ], ethical leadership in 12 % of the studies [ 49 , 94 ], and servant leadership in 8 % of the studies [ 38 , 45 , 85 ].…”

“…Most previous studies on transformational leadership style have only focused on the consequences of transformational leadership style, such as job performance and work engagement. Therefore, this study investigates not only the consequences of transformational leadership but also the human or work value factor (i.e., universalism) as an antecedent of transformational leadership, which is extremely rare in the literature on transformational leadership (Jin et al, 2016 ; Lin et al, 2022 ; Shamshad and Naqi Khan, 2022 ). These data, which include information on universalism, leadership, innovation, and leader effectiveness, can be helpful for researchers researching antecedents of value-based leadership and innovation as well as leader effectiveness.…”

These data, which include information on universalism, leadership, innovation, and leader effectiveness, can be helpful for researchers researching antecedents of value-based leadership and innovation as well as leader effectiveness.…”

“…The results of this study suggest that there is need for further research into the antecedents of workaholism in collectivistic countries like Indonesia. Another suggestion for further research is to possibly utilize structured equation modeling for investigating the mediated-moderation analysis of personal resources including self-efficacy, as there has been empirical evidence on the mediation of personal resources between leadership and work engagement (Shamshad and Khan 2020).…”
