Abstract: Infectious Mononucleosis is an acute infectious disease caused by Epstein-Barr virus (EBV). It is characterized by systemicsomatic complaints consisting primarily of fatigue, malaise, fever, sore throat, cervical lymphadenopathy and accompanied by atypical large peripheral blood lymphocytes.
