Luminescence of BaCd2Cl6:Pb Crystals

“…(b) 229, No. 3 (2002) 1307 Ta b l e 1 Positions and halfwidths of the photoluminescence bands in BaCd 2 Cl 6 : Pb, BaCl 2 : Pb [5,6], CdCl 2 : Pb [7,8] and KCl : Pb [9,10] KCl : Pb 3.55 [10] temperature dependence of the 2.51 eV photoluminescence band intensity also confirm its complex structure. Such a behaviour of the temperature dependence of the emission intensity for the two photoluminescence bands (A T and A X ) also can be seen in alkali-halide crystals doped with Tl þ , Ga þ and In þ ions [11][12][13].…”

“…At the same time, the positions of the low-energy photoluminescence bands of BaCd 2 Cl 6 : Pb crystals at 2.69, 2.51 and 2.33 eV are considerably shifted when compared with the positions of the low-energy photoluminescence bands of BaCl 2 : Pb (2.85 eV [5] and 2.47 eV [6]) and CdCl 2 : Pb crystals (2.48 eV [8]). …”

Synchrotron radiation studies of the luminescence of BaCl2 crystals

“…Люмiнесценцiю домiшок свинцю в кристалах BaCl 2 дослiджено в працях [5,8,9]. У роботi [8] вiдзначено, що у спектрах фотолюмiнесценцiї кристалiв BaCl 2 :Pb були лише двi смуги з максимумами при 2.87 i 3.93 еВ (4.2 К), тодi як автори [5] вказують на наявнiсть чотирьох смуг при 2.47; 3.21; 3.92 i 4.19 еВ (79 К). У кристалах BaCl 2 :Sn теж виявлено двi смуги люмiнесценцiї в дiлянцi 2.87 i 2.50 еВ (293 К) [9].…”
