Although many countries around the world, especially China, highlight the strategy of green development, there has been little research evaluating the effectiveness of green development policies in local area. This study explores 16 policy texts with the theme of green development in the Yangtze River Economic Belt in China. Using the Policy Modeling Consistency Index (PMC-Index) model, the paper establishes a multi-input–output policy table and scientifically and systematically evaluates these policies. The results show that the average PMC index of the 16 policy texts is 6.83, indicating a high overall quality of policy texts. The index identifies two states of policy effectiveness as being good and excellent; 50% of the total texts fall into these categories and do not fall into the category of having a low level of policy effectiveness. Five indicators, including policy timeliness, social benefits, policy audience scope, and incentives and constraints, significantly impact the PMC-Index of the policy. Six representative policy samples were selected and analyzed. The advantages and disadvantages of the policy can be more fully understood by the degree of depression of the PMC’s three-dimensional curved surface (PMC-Surface) model. Finally, the paper provides theoretical recommendations for the optimization of the green development policies.

At present, key elements of the Internet of Things (IoT) are becoming increasingly affordable, making the technology incredibly attractive to many countries, particularly China. Collecting data from multiple IoT resources and combining them with data from other sources lead to significant rural economic development, ecological environment, and ecological and environmental ramifications in these nations. The most visible effects of the IoT in these nations include advances in rural economic growth, environmental conflict, and the efficiency of critical sectors. Furthermore, the IoT has the potential to revolutionize the industrial and commercial sectors, notably in terms of data confidentiality and information security. It is required to conduct an empirical study on the coordinated interaction between rural economic growth and ecological environmental conflict in Luoyang using an IoT environment. Because the IoT plays a key role in economic growth and the ecological environment, this study examines the coordination of rural economic development and ecological environment conflict in Luoyang’s IoT environment. To analyze the original data for the establishment of index weight, it first employs the enhanced entropy approach by building the coordinated assessment index scheme of rural financial development and environmental surroundings conflict in the IoT environment of Luoyang. Second, it calculates the benefits of rural financial growth and the environmental surroundings benefit index of Luoyang. Then, it carried out the Pearson correlation analysis of the abovementioned calculation results using SPSS software that uses the layered architecture of the IoT, and the degree of conflict and coordination among rural financial growth and the ecological environment in Luoyang is judged by referring to relevant standards from 2010 to 2019. The experimental result of this study indicates that the conflict coordination state between rural financial growth and the ecological environment in Luoyang has gradually enhanced. Through this study, local decision makers can give additional consideration to the balance between economic development and the coordination of ecological environmental conflicts, especially those indicators that have a great influence on the coordinated development of the two.

Due to the increasingly serious problems of China's human habitat ecosystem, on the basis of PESTEL paradigm, this study develops a human habitat ecological environment evaluation system with 6 criteria levels and 33 indicator layers, with Anhui Province as a representative. It also combines entropy weight method-TOPSIS, grey correlation analysis method and ArcGIS to assess the quality and spatial-temporal distribution features of the habitat ecological environment in the province of Anhui from 2012 to 2021. The results are presented below (1) Analysed from a temporal perspective, in Anhui Province, the overall quality of human habitat ecological environment improved significantly between 2012 and 2021, and the comprehensive index increased by 178.95%. (2) From the spatial dimension, Huangshan City and Maanshan City in the south of Anhui Province have the highest level of habitat ecological environment, while Huaibei City and Bozhou City perform the worst. (3) In terms of different indicators, the indicator with the strongest interlink with the humankind habitat ecosystem is the completed investment in the project of treating wastewater (PO5), and the indicator with the weakest correlation is the Total amount of wastewater discharged (TE1). The variations in time and space in the evolution and development of the quality of the humankind habitat in the province of Anhui are obvious, and differentiated and targeted measures to improve the human habitat ecological environment should be implemented to effectively promote the excellent creation of Anhui Province.
