Abstract: Herbosomes are a relatively new technology that involves encapsulating herbal extracts in liposomes, which are tiny spheres made of phospholipids. This allows for better absorption of the herbal compounds into the body. Herbosomes have a higher bioavailability compared to traditional herbal extracts, improved stability and can be designed to target specific areas of the body, as well as reduced side effects as they can be delivered in smaller doses.
